I'm repeating some that others have mentioned, but that only means they're even more awesome dubs. Although Brandon and Harry find it in a different way, you'll definitely feel connected to this anime on a whole other level. The plot involves an idea that we all can share, a need for independence and freedom. They got great voice actors for this series. Steamboy (absolutely must be watched in dub since the characters themselves are mostly English/American) 3) Voice acting is very good, even for the dub. I also liked the Spice and Wolf dub, but it sounded great in both languages, though. Those "MUAHAHAHA"s just sound so much more rewarding when I've been paying attention to the voice more. For all of those I seriously could not take the Japanese audio at all.

Heh.Īnyway, I really liked the dub for FMP!, Code Geass, Gurren Lagann, and One Piece more than average, as well as more than their Japanese counterparts. Then recently I saw "Samurai X" was on Hulu without knowing there were two, wanted to rewatch the end of the first episode, and then wondered how the crap my memory could be so bad. One time Sony did it as "Samurai X" and completely baby-fied the thing, and then there's the actual "Rurouni Kenshin" dub.
I actually preferred Kenshin's voice in the dub instead of the subbed since his seiyuu was female and sounded weird for him.īecause SOMEONE is going to say "OMG that dub sucked", they should know that it was dubbed twice.
